Space Coast Studios ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting the privacy of our Clients and their end customers. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard information when you use our services.

1. Information We Collect

From our Clients (business owners):

Business name, contact name, email address, and phone number
Billing information (processed securely through our payment provider — we do not store card numbers)
Business operational data including service types, technician details, and scheduling preferences

From end customers (customers of our Clients):

Name, phone number, and email address provided when booking an appointment or submitting a contact form
Appointment history and service preferences
Any notes or messages submitted through our platform

Automatically collected:

Basic usage logs for security and debugging purposes (IP address, browser type, timestamps)
No advertising trackers or third-party analytics are used on our platform

2. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

Provide, operate, and improve our platform and services
Send appointment confirmations and reminders to end customers on behalf of our Clients
Respond to support requests and communicate with Clients about their account
Ensure the security and integrity of our systems
Comply with legal obligations

We do not use end customer data for any purpose beyond providing services to the Client that collected it.

3. SMS and Email Communications

Our platform sends automated SMS messages and emails on behalf of our Clients, such as appointment confirmations and 24-hour reminders. These messages are sent only to customers who have provided their contact information directly to our Client (the business they booked with).

End customers who wish to opt out of SMS messages may reply STOP to any message. Opt-out requests are honored promptly and we do not send further messages to opted-out numbers.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade any personal information. We may share information only in the following limited circumstances:

Service providers: We use Twilio for SMS and voice services, and SendGrid for email delivery. These providers process data on our behalf under their own privacy policies and security standards.
Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required to do so by law or in response to valid legal process.
Business transfers: In the event of a merger or acquisition, data may be transferred as part of that transaction, with notice provided to affected Clients.

5. Data Retention

We retain Client and customer data for as long as the service relationship is active and for a reasonable period afterward for legal and accounting purposes. Clients may request deletion of their data at any time by contacting us.

6. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure credential storage, and access controls. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable precautions to protect the data we hold.

7. Children's Privacy

Our services are intended for use by businesses and are not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Your Rights

Clients and their end customers may:

Request access to the personal information we hold about them
Request correction of inaccurate information
Request deletion of their data, subject to legal retention requirements
Opt out of marketing communications at any time

9. Cookies

Our marketing website uses no third-party tracking cookies. Our admin dashboard uses session cookies solely to maintain your logged-in state. We do not use cookies for advertising or cross-site tracking.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify active Clients of material changes with at least 14 days notice. The effective date at the top of this page reflects when the policy was last updated.
